This new light rail line runs 7.5 miles from downtown to south of Reliant Park. It's a fast, convenient and safe way to travel between Downtown, Midtown, the Museum District, the Texas Medical Center and Reliant Park. The Metro comes every six to twenty mintues (normal business hours to weekend evenings respectively).
METRO Shuttle Bus Service Three shuttle bus routes provide free
transportation between most buildings in the Texas Medical
Center. Bus stops are conveniently located throughout the
campus.
METROLift Information METROLift, a service of the Metropolitan
Transit Authority, offers curb-to-curb transportation for
persons with disabilities who are unable to ride regular METRO

METRO offers comfortable, reliable bus service to the Texas Medical
Center on 13 routes. Routes and schedules are available in the Texas
Medical Center Parking Services Offices (in Garage 2) and on the
METRO Web site. Reduced fares are available to children, students,
senior citizens and persons with disabilities. METRO also offers
a monthly pass, good for unlimited rides during the month purchased.
