Parents with Unexpected Birth Outcomes

Postby StudyNurse » Fri Nov 04, 2011 5:41 pm

If you are the parent of an infant who has experienced an unexpected birth outcome, you’re invited to participate in a clinical research study at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center.

We are conducting a study to talk with the parents of infants who have experienced an unexpected harmful event during birth. The purpose of our study is to learn more about the communication that happens between parents, doctors, nurses, and other health care workers during that difficult experience.

The study involves 1 telephone call to determine eligibility and 1 in-person interview. Compensation provided. This study has been reviewed and approved by the UTHSC-Houston Committee for the Protection of Human Subjects, HSC-MS-10-0666. For more information please contact the study coordinator at 713-500-7910, or by e-mail to: madelene.j.ottosen@uth.tmc.edu.
Thank you.
