after mod quad

Postby bkabka » Tue Jan 09, 2007 8:38 pm

my 2 yr. old daughter had the mod quad surgery in July. She is doing very well, she can externally rotate to touch the back of her head. And when she is reaching for something she can get almost full range straight up (usually with arm slightly bent). When she is just asked to raise her arm she still doesn't get it up too high...it think this is more of a proprioception thing, a habit. However, she has a very hard time with internal rotation, she has difficulty pulling her pants down or reaching to her back pocket. Is this something that others have found. Also, what does you child's shoulder look like. Kairi's left shoulder (BPI shoulder) seems much more rounden and lower than the right. it seems to be sagging and uneven. Please let me know what you all have found. Thanks!
