Stressin' after TT

Postby bkabka » Fri Jul 13, 2007 8:03 pm

My daughter had TT in May. She is now out of the splint during the day and still wearing it at night. I am pretty concerned because she had great arm/shoulder function before the surgery, but it has gone way down. I know that it is still early...but she has almost no elbow flexion at all and if I try to do any passive movement with her she starts to fuss. She is almost 3 years old. She has also lost a lot of shoulder flexion, shoulder abduction doesn't seem too bad. Could anyone please tell me what you found when your little one first started coming out of the splint. Is this normal? Thanks!
